GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

The BUTTERFLY VALVE CENTER STEM SERIES 20 FLANGED ENDS is designed to provide dependable shut-off performance and high mechanical strength in water distribution systems. Featuring a concentric disc design with tightness in both directions, it ensures reliable sealing under varying flow conditions. The valve is available in a wide range from DN50 up to DN1200, covering medium to large-diameter pipeline requirements.

Its one-piece shaft construction prevents breakage caused by water hammer, enhancing operational safety and long-term durability. Depending on configuration, the valve can be supplied with a vulcanized seat or cartridge seat, ensuring effective sealing and simplified maintenance. The optimized internal profile guarantees low head loss, contributing to efficient hydraulic performance.

Protected with epoxy coating (250 microns), the valve offers excellent corrosion resistance. It is equipped with a top flange according to ISO 5211, allowing easy actuator mounting and automation integration. The Series 3D gear operator can be installed on all resilient butterfly valves in this range; adjustable end-of-travel stops are supplied as standard and factory-set when mounted.

Designed in accordance with EN 1074-2, with face-to-face dimensions according to EN 558-1 Series 20, the valve is suitable for installation between PN10, PN16, and ANSI 150 flanges according to EN 1092-2.

Pressure testing is performed in compliance with EN 12266-1, DIN 3230, BS 6755, and ISO 5208, with test values of: Body: 24 bar and Seat: 17.6 bar

Working conditions include pressure ratings of 1.0 MPa and 1.6 MPa, with a temperature range from -10°C to +80°C.
The valve is suitable for water applications.

Manufactured in accordance with the requirements of EU Directive 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive), Module H, this valve meets stringent European quality and safety standards.
