GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Resilient seat gate valves for PE pipes are specifically designed to provide reliable isolation and long service life in polyethylene pipeline systems. Engineered in accordance with EN 1074-2, they ensure 100% tight shut-off in both flow directions, making them ideal for potable water and distribution networks.
Available in sizes from DN50 to DN300, these valves feature special ends for direct connection to PE pipes, ensuring secure, leak-free installation without the need for additional fittings. Their design is optimized for buried and above-ground installations, offering versatility in modern water infrastructure.
The resilient sealing system guarantees bubble-tight performance (zero leakage), while the valve can be repacked under pipeline pressure, allowing maintenance without service interruption. The internal design also ensures low head loss and smooth operation, reducing energy consumption.
Protected with WRAS-approved epoxy coating (minimum 250 microns, RAL 5015), the valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and full suitability for drinking water applications. The WRAS certification further confirms compliance with potable water standards.
Designed according to DIN 3352 and tested in accordance with EN 12266-1 Rate A, each valve undergoes strict quality control, with pressure tests at 24 bar for the body and 17.6 bar for the seat, ensuring maximum reliability and safety.
These valves are a robust, maintenance-friendly, and cost-effective solution for water supply networks, irrigation systems, and PE pipeline installations, where tight sealing, durability, and ease of installation are essential.
