GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
 
Resilient seat gate valves with non-rising stem, designed in accordance with AWWA C515, provide reliable, bubble-tight shut-off for water distribution systems, including underground installations. Their robust construction and resilient sealing technology ensure long service life and zero leakage (Class A sealing) in both directions.
The valve features a full bore, self-cleaning design, delivering minimal head loss and optimal flow efficiency. The resilient wedge with linear sealing design reduces operating torque, enabling smooth operation with low torque values. Standard configuration includes clockwise closing (CWC), with anticlockwise option available upon request.
A key advantage is its maintenance-friendly design, allowing repacking of the stem sealing system under pipeline pressure, minimizing downtime and simplifying servicing operations. The non-rising stem design makes it especially suitable for confined spaces and buried applications.
Externally and internally protected with WRAS-approved epoxy coating (minimum 250 microns) in accordance with AWWA C550, the valve ensures excellent corrosion resistance and full suitability for drinking water applications.
Available in sizes from DN40 to DN400 with pressure rating up to 250 PSI, the valve complies with ASME B16.10 face-to-face dimensions and ASME B16.5 Class 150 flanged connections. Each unit is fully tested according to AWWA C515 and API 598, guaranteeing performance and reliability.
Additional features include galvanized carbon steel bonnet bolts sealed against corrosion, O-ring protection on each bolt, and multiple operation options such as handwheel, square cap, or extension spindle, making this valve a versatile and dependable solution for modern water networks.
