GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

DAVINCI Tilting Check Valves with flanged ends are engineered to provide reliable backflow prevention, fast closing performance, and long service life in large-diameter pipelines. Available from DN200 to DN2000 with pressure ratings PN10, PN16, PN25, and PN40, they are suitable for demanding water and industrial applications.
The valve design ensures 100% watertight sealing, thanks to the perfect adherence between the EPDM sealing ring integrated in the disc and the stainless steel body seat. The tilting mechanism allows reduced friction during operation, as the seal only contacts the metal seat at the final stage of closure, resulting in lower wear, reduced torque, and extended sealing life.
The optimized hydraulic design delivers low head loss, while the fast closing action minimizes reverse flow and protects the system. For enhanced performance, an optional hydraulic damper can be installed to ensure smooth, controlled closing and prevention of water hammer.
Maintenance is simplified, as both the EPDM sealing ring and O-rings can be replaced without removing the valve from the pipeline, reducing downtime and operational costs. The valve is protected with WRAS-approved epoxy coating (250 microns), providing excellent corrosion resistance and suitability for potable water.
Designed for horizontal installation, these valves operate under pressures up to 4.0 MPa and temperatures from -10°C to +95°C, handling clean water and compatible fluids.
They comply with EN 558-1 Series 14 (F4) face-to-face dimensions and EN 1092-2 / ISO 7005-2 flanged connections. Each unit is tested according to EN 12266-1 Rate A and GB/T13927-1992, with pressure tests at 1.5 × PN (body) and 1.1 × PN (seat). Certified under CE and WRAS, and compliant with PED 2014/68/EU, these valves offer a robust, efficient, and low-maintenance solution for water supply, wastewater, irrigation, HVAC, and industrial systems.
