GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
DAVINCI PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES are designed to automatically reduce high or fluctuating inlet pressure to a stable, predetermined downstream pressure. Their robust construction and accurate regulating performance make them suitable for hydraulic installations requiring reliable pressure control, operational safety, and continuous service under changing flow conditions.
Available in sizes from DN50 to DN800 mm, the valves feature a high-strength ductile iron body for enhanced mechanical resistance and durability. All iron surfaces are protected with a fusion-bonded epoxy coating, providing effective resistance against corrosion and extending the service life of the valve in demanding environments.
The internal assembly incorporates a stem guided at both the cover and seat-ring areas, together with a nylon-reinforced diaphragm that ensures smooth operation, accurate response, and long-term reliability. A corrosion-resistant stainless steel seat and disc-retaining ring provide durable sealing performance, while the valve’s drip-tight shut-off helps prevent leakage when the system is closed. Its globe-pattern body delivers excellent throttling and modulation characteristics across a wide range of operating conditions.
The valve has been developed to simplify inspection and servicing. Internal components can be accessed without removing the valve body from the main pipeline, helping to reduce maintenance time, system interruptions, and operating costs.
DAVINCI PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES are commonly installed in municipal drinking-water networks, irrigation systems, industrial processing plants, pumping stations, HVAC and cooling systems, mining operations, high-rise building services, and fire protection networks. They are particularly suitable for installations where downstream equipment and pipelines must be protected from excessive or unstable pressure.
A wide selection of pilots, filters, pressure gauges, isolation devices, and additional accessories is available to adapt the valve to specific system requirements. Optional V-Port trim can be supplied for improved control at low flow rates, while a double-chamber configuration is available for specialized operating conditions.
