GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

DAVINCI Metal Seated Gate Valves with threaded ends in CF8M stainless steel (equivalent to AISI 316) are designed for robust isolation service, high corrosion resistance, and durability in compact pipeline systems. Their construction makes them suitable for water, oil, and compatible industrial fluids, especially in environments requiring enhanced resistance to corrosion.

Available in sizes from 1/4” up to 4” (standard range commonly up to 2”), these valves are manufactured using investment casting and precision machining, ensuring high dimensional accuracy and reliable performance. The metal-to-metal seating provides excellent resistance to temperature and wear, making them suitable for more demanding conditions than soft-seated alternatives.

The valve body and bonnet are made of CF8 / CF8M stainless steel, while internal components such as the stem and trim (AISI 304) and PTFE packing and gaskets ensure tight sealing and smooth operation. The design allows for reliable shut-off with moderate torque values and long service life.

Threaded connections are manufactured according to ASME B1.20.1 (NPT), BS21, DIN 259/2999, ensuring easy installation and compatibility with international piping standards, without the need for flanged connections.

Each valve is tested according to EN 12266-1, API 598, DIN 3230, BS 6755, and ISO 5208, guaranteeing tightness and structural integrity. Manufactured in compliance with PED 2014/68/EU (Category III, Module H), they meet strict European safety and quality requirements.

Designed for working pressures up to PN16 (200 PSI) and temperatures up to +180°C, these valves are suitable for a wide range of applications involving water, oil, and other compatible media.
