GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
DAVINCI Y STRAINERS – FLANGED ENDS are designed to protect valves, pumps, meters, and other pipeline components by efficiently retaining solid particles present in the flow. Available in DN50 to DN600, with working pressures PN10/16, these strainers provide dependable filtration and long service life in water and industrial installations.
The body is protected with epoxy coating (250 microns), ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and durability in demanding environments. Its optimized internal geometry allows effective debris collection while maintaining stable flow performance and minimizing pressure loss.
Suitable sectors include water supply and distribution networks, wastewater and sewage treatment plants, irrigation systems, pumping stations, HVAC and district heating systems, industrial process lines, chemical and petrochemical installations, oil and gas facilities, and fire protection systems.
Manufactured in accordance with EN 13443, with face-to-face dimensions according to EN 558-1 Series 1, the strainer is designed for installation between PN10/16 flanges according to EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2. Pressure testing is carried out in compliance with EN 12266-1 Rate A and GB/T 13927-1992, with the body tested at 1.5 × PN.
In line with EU Directive 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive), the product is excluded under Article 1, §2b up to DN300. Certified CE, this Y strainer delivers a robust, standards-compliant, and efficient solution for pipeline protection across infrastructure and industrial applications.
