GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

DAVINCI high-performance BASKET STRAINERS are designed to provide reliable filtration and protection of pipelines and downstream equipment in water and industrial installations. Available from DN40 to DN600 in PN10 and PN16, their robust construction and large removable basket make them a suitable solution for applications requiring efficient filtration combined with easy inspection and maintenance.

Manufactured with a GJS500 ductile iron body and cover, they incorporate an AISI 304 stainless steel filter basket and EPDM cover gasket. Different perforation and mesh sizes can be supplied according to the filtration requirements of each installation, while the integrated drain plug facilitates cleaning and maintenance operations.

Flanged connections are manufactured according to EN 1092-2, with the perforated plate according to DIN 24041. Pressure tests are performed according to EN 12266-1 Rate A, with the body tested at 1.5 × PN. The strainers are suitable for working pressures up to 1.6 MPa and operating temperatures from -10 °C to +100 °C.

Protected with 250 μm epoxy coating in RAL 5015, DAVINCI basket strainers are suitable for HVAC installations, irrigation, industrial water systems, water distribution and water treatment plants, and can be used with potable water, neutral liquids and sewage, subject to compatibility with the selected materials.

Different basket perforations, mesh sizes, materials and other adaptations can be supplied according to the specific requirements of your project. Just ask us for the most suitable configuration.
