GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
RUBBER EXPANSION JOINTS – SINGLE SPHERE, THREADED ENDS (PN16) are designed to enhance the reliability and durability of piping systems by effectively compensating vibrations, noise, and mechanical stresses in fluid conduction lines.
Available in a compact size range from DN15 up to DN80, these joints provide an efficient solution for installations requiring threaded connections (GAS/NPT).
The full bore design combined with a twin-wave (single sphere) construction ensures minimum head loss and optimal flow performance, while delivering excellent flexibility to absorb dynamic movements and protect system components such as pumps and valves.
Manufactured using an advanced moulding process with high-resistance synthetic fiber reinforcement, the expansion joint offers superior mechanical strength and long-term performance. It is capable of withstanding a burst pressure exceeding 60 bar, while the maximum working pressure is PN16, ensuring a high safety margin under demanding operating conditions.
Engineered for versatility, the product can be installed in both horizontal and vertical positions, allowing easy integration into a wide range of piping layouts.
These expansion joints are ideally suited for applications such as heating and HVAC systems, cooling and overheated water circuits, pumping stations, compressor connections, and industrial and marine piping systems, delivering reliable performance across multiple sectors.
All units are manufactured and tested in accordance with EN 12266-1 Rate A and GB/T 13927-1992, with body pressure testing carried out at 1.5 × PN to ensure tightness and structural integrity.
The product is CE certified and classified under Article 4, Paragraph 3 of Directive 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive), confirming compliance with applicable safety requirements.
